I'm a sucker for trying out new beauty treatments and products so naturally, as summer approaches I've been trying out a few new products and treatments to get me ready to rock the summer. Here's a few of my faves!
Kerastase Chronologiste Treatment
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of going to Blue Gemini to try out the most luxurious Kerastase treatment - chronologiste! I sipped on a glass of bubbly, had a few snacks and enjoyed a sweet hair treatment with Kira, the night was pretty much perfect! Tara from Blue Gemini started my treatment with a Kerastase shampoo and then the truly luxe part began. The chronologiste treatment uses small "caviar" looking pearls that are mixed with a rich cream and then mixed and applied all over your hair from your scalp to the ends. It's then left on for your hair to absorb the nutrients and benefits and rinsed out. I cannot even tell you how shiny and smooth my hair was. By now you should already know of my love for murad. While I'm a big supporter of lovin' your curves and not stressing about your size I'm also the first to admit that I'm all in favour of firming up, especially in the summer aka shorts/skirts/bikini season. As always, Murad kills it with this smoothing/firming combo. The first step of this firming duo is the Firm and Tone Serum. To use, massage the silky gel onto clean skin on any areas of concern and then you follow up with the Body Firming Cream. The gel helps with the appearance of stretch marks, cellulite and boosts elasticity and firmness. Then the lotion (which smells amazing btw, I've been using this for the past few weeks in anticipation of my little getaway) firms and moisturizes. Talk about a killer combo!
This pick is my new local beauty obsession (right up there with Veil, obvi!). Megan (a fellow SPUD ambassador) is a pretty amazing woman. She's a blogger and environmentalist and now, she's selling her spa products through SPUD! I'm really lucky that my condo has the most amazing bathtub so I take baths very often and these bath salts have been ah-mazing. I wish you guys could smell just how incredible these salts are - I'm pretty sure it's the nicest smelling bath product I've ever used!
