One Barcart, Two Ways
If you've been following 204 Park for awhile now, chances are you've noticed that I like to show multiple way to use decor items or furniture. (See my 'Front Entry 3 Ways' and 'Coffee Table Styling 101' as evidence). I feel like when you invest in furniture, or get a new great piece for your home it's nice to know that there are multiple ways to use it. Today, I want to show two ways to use a bar cart in a slightly less traditional sense. Bar Cart styling is an art and one that you can constantly be tweaking and adjusting depending on your needs and your style preferences. We all know that bar carts make great additions to living rooms or dining rooms for holding glassware and other bar essentials but today I'm going to show how you can incorporate a bar cart into your office. Yes, I just said bar cart in an office and no, I don't mean to bust into the bubbly right at happy hour! ;)
I recently received the North Avenue Collection bar cart from The Brick. By now you should know that my obsession with the North Avenue line from The Brick knows no bounds. I have the sofa table in my front entry, the shelves in my office and I've recently ordered the storage bench for my back entry. I've also used pieces from the North Avenue Collection for a few of my clients:
So you know, I'm a fan... haha!
I love the North Avenue Collection because the pieces are modern and stylish, minimalist and also (as a bonus) totally affordable. So today I thought I'd showcase two ways you can bring the North Avenue bar cart into an office setting in two unique ways that are functional and stylish
Office Bar Cart Setup #1: Coffee Station
If you ask me, having a coffee station in your office just makes sense! haha I love how this bar cart work so well with the other pieces in my office and, it functions perfectly as a coffee station! The lip down from the front of the bar cart makes accessing the top shelf very simple and totally convenient. The cart perfectly holds my coffee maker, coffee pods, cream and sugar holder and a few mugs and decor items. Cute + functional, I've actually loved having my coffee so close by this past week with this current office set up of mine! Would you put a coffee station in your office? If yes, I HIGHLY recommend it! If not, the maybe the next set up is more your style....
Office Bar Cart Setup #2: Office Supplies Storage
If an office coffee station doesn't appeal to you then maybe this next option is more your style. Bar carts can also be incredibly functional pieces of furniture in an office to hold additional office supplies or materials that you want to access frequently, but that you don't want cluttering your desk. For this set up I've shown the bar cart holding a box of my most frequently used office supplies (that aren't pretty enough to keep out but that I need to access often), storage boxes are great solutions for this! On the top of the cart is where I've styled some of the smaller items I use more often - my time blocking cube, extra colored pens and pencils, weekly planner, the current book I'm reading and other smaller items that are both functional (aka my wireless headphones) and ones that are more decorative (cute vase from The Brick + faux flowers). I found this 'office supply overflow' station to be super convenient + offer another surface to add decorative touches to! Remember, the Brick has a HUGE assortment of accessories in store that aren't shown online so if you're ever on the hunt for cute new decor, pop into your nearest store to see what they have!
