#ReadTheNorth: 10 Canadian Books to Read This Summer
One of my favourite ways to unwind and get in some "me time" is to read. There's something comforting about holding a book, flipping the pages and getting caught up in a story that just doesn't quite compare to binge watching a show on Netflix (although don't get me wrong, I do my fair share of that too! haha). Today I thought I'd share 10 books by Canadian authors I'm hoping to read this summer in celebration of supporting Indigo's #ReadThe North initiative. Have you read any of these books? Let me know if you have any suggestions, I'll be looking for books to take on my trip to BC in a few weeks!
1. The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood
2. The Nightingale Won't Let You Sleep - Steven Heighton
3. How to be a Bawse- Lilly Singh
5. Fifteen Dogs - Andre Alexis
6. The Break - Katherena Vermette
7. When You Find Out The World Is Against You - Kelly Oxford
8. One Hour in Paris - Karyn Freedman
9. Do Not Say We Have Nothing - Madeleine Thien
