Holiday Makeup Look- Diana Goes Glam
Well we're more than a week into December now so we're in full holiday swing mode, and holidays = holiday parties. We thought we'd take some time this week to share a few holiday looks that we think would be perfect for the party season that is in full swing. For the next three days we'll be sharing holiday makeup looks brought to you by the talented Jennifer Bagnariol. Today is my look and I can't wait to show you guys!
On a day to day basis I tend to keep my makeup routine pretty basic. Nine times out of ten I'm able to "put my face on" in about five minutes or less. That being said, every so often I like to switch it up a bit and rock more of a glam look but I'm not always confident enough that I can pull it off. Enter Jennifer - she stepped in to show me a dramatic eye look that I loved. Tis the season after all!
For my look Jen wanted to play up my green eyes with a cranberry smoky eye. I hardly wear any eye makeup aside from a bit of shimmer shadow and liner so I was pumped to try this look. Layering soft purples and cranberries she created a luxe look perfect for a holiday soiree. Since the eyes were bold, we kept the lips and face a bit more tame which made this look totally wearable.
I had so much fun getting glam and in the process Jennifer gave us some great tips which we'll be sure to share with you guys in a later post. And - not only is Jennifer a wicked makeup artist and esthetician but she also is a Stella and Dot stylist, meaning that we had some seriously pretty baubles and bling to choose to accessorize with too! I felt that this necklace worked perfectly and made enough of a statement that I kept the rest of the jewelry simple.
