Month in Review: January 2014
As this little blog of ours grows we've been having tons of fun meeting new people, going new places and trying new things (doesn't that just sound lovely), all in the name of 204 Park. We've decided to start this feature as a way to share a few more pictures, details or little tidbits from some of the fun things we have been up to over the past month. So for our first instalment of 2014 - we give you January - A month in review.
We rang in the New Year at a little soiree hosted by none other than our own Kali. Little miss Kali is quite the hostess so the night was filled with great food, fab friends, and lots of bubbly!
A meal out at new Edmonton restaurant Parlour was the perfect night out and miss Chantelle (aka the lady who makes our hair look fabulous) was able to join us too - perfect!
We introduced our new series - Get the Look. Remember, if there is a piece you want to find for less, feel free to let us know and we might just find it for you!
The three of us tried out a new class offered by Soul Spin and had our butts kicked at their pre-studio opening class hosted by Barre Body Edmonton. Diana and Kali also took on the 30 Day barre challenge again as the perfect way to kick start our post holiday binge fest workouts for the new year!
In January we had the pleasure of meeting Linda from Timeless Edge Photography who introduced us to local store owner Mavis, who was looking to collaborate for her new website. You'll have to stay tuned for more details as we're able to release them but we had a fantastic day working with Linda, having Jennifer Bagnariol come in as our one woman glam squad, getting to meet the talented Malorie Shmyr, and check out the great space that is Garage Photographic. A day full of shoes, jewellery, clothes and photos was pretty much the best way to spend a Sunday!
When Cory Christopher invited us to his studio for a sneak peek at his "Say I Do" event, we were too excited. We had a great time talking about our shared passions for design and telling a story through beautiful settings. Cory was just as passionate and lovely as we envisioned him being and we cannot wait to meet up with him again!
Lastly, Kali ended the month with a super springy and very blingy Stella and Dot party, showcasing the brand new 2014 collection. And as a bonus - Kali is now a Stella and Dot Stylist, so keep your eyes open for lots of bling around here. (AND, *cough cough* a giveaway in the Spring!)
What a great start to 2014 it has been! We can't wait to share with you what we've got coming up in the next few months- lots of exciting happenings at 204 Park!
