GTL: Living Room Dream
As a self proclaimed girly girl, I fell in love with this room as soon as I set my eyes on it!
The mix of textures, pairing bold lines with soft colors and adding small touches of glam make this a living room I'd gladly call my own! So for today's GTL (Get the Look in 204 Park lingo!) I'm breaking down how to recreate this fab room for yourself!
Ground the space: A sisal area rug adds texture but doesn't overwhelm, grounding the space. (Image)
Glass table with interest: This classic coffee table adds a bit of an edge to the room or this one is great too!
Simple sofa: A classic sofa with clean lines acts as a blank canvas for fab cushions to add some wow
Dress it up: Cushion 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 Mix and match cushions add texture and visual interest, I love the combo of pinks, ivories, blacks and greys; the perfect mix of classic with a feminine twist.
Drift: Add a beautiful "object" with a neutral piece of driftwood. Places like Homsense are usually great places to pick these up if you don't have the ability to just head outdoors and find one for yourself. (Image)
Touch of gold: I love that this room is an understated glam- with just a touch of gold, the space stays soft and pretty. This dish from Indigo would be perfect in this room.
Fresh blooms: You can never go wrong with adding fresh florals to any room. (Image)
