Spring Party
Spring is in the air and if you're hosting any kind of a party, be it a birthday, mother's day, or you just want to up your game for a girls night in, I've got some easy and inexpensive party decoration inspiration for you.
As you might be able to tell, a career in cupcake decorating is nowhere in my future so to compensate for my child-like icing abilities, I thought I'd spruce up a little family party James and I hosted a few weeks back to make my mama feel extra special for her birthday.
Taking a cue from my Valentine's breakfast in bed, I hung some leftover balloons I still had from our balloon photo backdrop from the ceiling above the table with some gold glittery and pink ribbon. Rose gold cutlery and pink glasses made it feminine and springy. Luckily my "desk" acts as a great serving/display station for entertaining so I could display the glassware, dessert plates, cake stand and other goodies on there.
I also re-used my DIY chair garland from our garden party and strung it above the display to tie in that springy feeling. There's no shame in re-using decoration people, if you got it, you may as well use it! While it might not be the most jaw droppingly beautiful party set-up ever seen, these small touches are a great way to make any event just that much more special and with Mother's day just around the corner, these might just be a few tips you'll want to incorporate into your own special event that day.
