As a self proclaimed girly girl I love playing around with new beauty products so I was thrilled to test out some products from Nars. Since opting for a pastel hair I decided to make a few changes to my day to day makeup routine to go for a softer look.

Here's what I used...

After using a wet sponge to apply my foundation I set the look with the soft velvet loose powder. Next up was the Olympia contour blush duo which I used as a blush and contour. The Copacabana illuminator added a bit of a glow to my cheeks and then came time to do the eyes.

I've always been a liquid eyeliner girl but for a softer look I gave the Night Series Eyeliner in Night Flight a try and loved it! It's the prettiest smokey blue with just a hint of sparkle. Using the Nars Christopher Kane eyeshadow duo I used the purple color on the majority of my eyelid which pulls the color of my hair. I then used the neutral on my inner eyelid corner and then went back to my blush and contour duo and used the highlighter under my brow bone. I finished off with a swipe of mascara and I was set!

To give the look a little more oomph I add a swipe of my new favorite red, the Nars Audacious lipstick in Lana. If you've been following the blog over the past few weeks you might have noticed my new go-to red lip (evidence can be seen here, here, here & here). This orange-y red is the perfect bold lip that still feels wearable day to day and I am absolutely loving it!
