3 Ways to Use a Small Side Table
Hello everyone and happy Wednesday! Can you believe we're already in June - bah! Time is flying this year.... Anyways, today on the blog I'm sharing a fun post with The Brick and one of my favourite pieces from them - the mid century modern inspired Atlanta side table! Some of my favourite posts are the ones showing different ways to use or style staple pieces. When you're investing in furniture it's great to find pieces that are either multifunctional or easy to style in different ways and the Atlanta Table is definitely one of those pieces! So, today I'm showing 3 different ways you can style this stylish small side table - which look is your favourite?
Look #1: Accent Table
Many of us have little nooks and crannies in our homes that we don't quite know what to do with. They're small little spaces where you might think to place a plant or a basket or you might not be sure what to put there. For me, I have one of these little corners near my front entry and the Atlanta table is PERFECT for this spot! Place a few books, decorative items, a plant or a lamp and you've got a stylish little nook with added function too!
Look #2: Side Table
As a general rule I tend to prefer rounded side tables next to a sofa to square ones. They have a more organic shape and they tend to be easier to work into tighter spaces. I love this table next to the Calla sofa from The Brick. Adding pops of faux greenery, a few books and some color with cute little vases, this table is large enough to fit decorative and functional pieces which makes it a great choice for a functional side table. PS how cute are these little vases I picked up from The Brick?! (Remember, most of the accessories are not online, so pop into your nearest store because they're always bringing in new accessories!)

Look #3: Bedside Table
The third look for these gorgeous accent tables is a s a minimalist night stand. I LOVE how these tables look in our bedroom right now. As we change up our bedroom space they add great warmth and a more organic shape that really adds some great depth and interest to the space. Plus, as mentioned above, they're large enough that they're very functional as there's more than enough space for a lamp, books, and other personal items!
