Best of Beautycounter
A little while back I discovered a new beauty brand that I've become completely obsessed with....Beautycounter. Since discovering Beautycounter I've fallen in love with their ethos of safer skincare and cosmetics. As I've mentioned on here before, there are so many scary chemicals and harmful ingredients in so many of the beauty products that we use, that it's refreshing to discover a brand who's trying to change the game and create a safer line that still delivers the best beauty results. I've already shared my love for the Beautycounter charcoal face mask and lipgloss and today I want to share a few more of my favourites plus, I have a giveaway for you to try my favourites too!
So seeing as beauty starts with great skin, let's start with some of my skincare favourites, shall we?!
Ooh you guys this one has been a game changer for me when it comes to skincare. Charcoal is amazing for it's purifying qualities. Basically, this mask pulls out oil, dirt and impurities and helps to clear your skin. It's amazing especially if you have oily skin like me. If you haven't tried face oils, you definitely need to. Face oils are an incredible way to moisturise your skin as effectively as possible. Unlike synthetic oils, natural oils are absorbed into the skin and don't just sit on the top and make your skin feel oily. My skin type is oily and for the longest time I worried using face oils would cause me to break out but that couldn't be further from the case! This oil is incredibly soothing and moisturizing and so luxurious - I promise you'll love it!
Next up I want to talk about the
I love this multitasking product that acts both as a toner (use it after applying your hydrating face oil) or as a makeup setting spray. This toning, moisturising and refreshing spray is one that's become one of my beauty must have's. In fact, I use it in the evening as a part of my skincare routine and I also carry a small bottle in my purse to use as a refresher throughout the day.
Now in addition to their skincare line, Beautycounter has amazing cosmetics that I've come to love! For my day to day look I don't usually get too dramatic with my eye makeup which is why I love the
Pearl and Champagne Eyeshadow Duo
This is the ultimate day to day eyeshadow duo that you need to have in your makeup bag. The champagne is a great overall color while the pearl is fabulous to use on your brow bone and in your inner corners to add a bit of highlight. Once I apply the shadow I follow up with the
This mascara is without a doubt the most lenghtening mascara I've ever used. The wand is extremely delicate, making it easy to apply without fear of smudging or smears and I've had zero clumping issues with this mascara. I know you'll love it as much as I do!
Lastly, I finish off with the
Being more of a gloss girl, this is the perfect day to day lipstick that you can wear without having to worry about meticulously applying in front of the mirror. The lipstick is sheer enough that it glides on like a gloss but still applies the perfect amount of soft color. It's become my favourite product in the Beautycounter line that I've tried!
