Celebrating the Small Moments
The older I get and the busier life becomes the more and more I realize that it's the little moments in life that are worth celebrating. Sure birthdays and holidays are a great excuse to party but the moments that stand out in my mind as meaning more are the smaller celebrations that happen more frequently. In our relationship James and I try to celebrate our small successes; our business contracts won, our personal goals met and sometimes just making it through a tough week.
Knowing that I LOVE to have fresh beautiful flowers in our house, flowers are a great way for us to celebrate the happy moments in our home and they're usually the gifts we give both to one another and to our friends and family for almost any occasion. When it comes to choosing the most beautiful arrangementswhether to say I love you, happy birthday, congratulations or even (eek) I'm sorry - we turn to FTD. FTD is our go-to resource and one stop shop for a huge selection of floral arrangements, plants and gift baskets. Fun fact - with James' family living overseas, we'll often use this site when we send over flowers and gift baskets to save us time trying to find a local florist ourselves in the area.
How it works is you get to shop online and find the perfect arrangement for the occasion. No matter what the event, FTD will craft the perfect arrangement for the occasion. Once you've chosen your arrangement you can choose the size of the arrangement, add a card or other gift (chocolates, stuffed animals, and more!), write the message you'd like on the card, set the date and time for delivery and place the order! FTD then makes the arrangements with a local florist in the area of delivery to fulfill the order and just like that- the recipient of your gift will have a hand delivered arrangement made just for them by a local florist.
Because I love to have fresh blooms around the house James will send me floral arrangements as I'm working from home to brighten up my day and make me smile. These particular cheery flowers were the perfect pick me up after a bit of a stressful few weeks and their delivery instantly made my day and found a perfect home in my office since let's be honest, that's where I spend most of my day! I don't know about you but having fresh florals in the home always makes me happy.
