Bright and Airy Front Entry
Well if you've been following along with the blog for awhile chances are you already know that no space in my home stays the same for much longer than a few weeks haha! Our latest space to get a bit of a revamp is our front entry. The bench we had before was a great temporary solution while we searched for the right piece and finally, the perfect piece of furniture has arrived!
Our front entry is small but I really wanted a console table for it so it took some time to find one that was the right scale for the space. The North Avenue collection from The Brick came to the rescue again! You might remember that I'm a bit obsessed with these pieces (remember I shared the design plan for using them in Shop The Skinny's new space?) so of course I had to put a few in our own home.
The smaller scale and clean lines are perfect for the small area and are going to allow for lots of ways to decorate and style differently over the changing seasons. For the summer, we're keeping it bright and fresh and simple. Fresh flowers add a bright pop of color and a summer-y feel while the gold lantern adds a little touch of glam that I love to incorporate into every space. Lastly, a modern faux skull sits atop stacked books (which are a design must for any space) to balance out this simple console design. Off to the side I'm using the Pawn accent table from The Brick for a bit of brass, some mid-century modern flair and as the perfect space for another pop of greenery (because we all know I can never have too much greenery!)
What do you think of the newly decorated space?!
