Moving Up! A Peek at our Bedroom Refresh
Hey Wednesday everyone! I titled today's blog post 'Moving Up!' because today I'm sharing a pretty drastic bedroom switch up and we've swapped out our old low to the ground bed for a much higher new and dramatic bed from The Brick!
I won't lie, after having a low to the ground bed for over 6 years it felt a little strange getting back into a higher bed frame but it only took one night to get used to it and now we're loving it!! Such a dramatic transformation in our room!
I love mixing things up and bringing a bit more drama into our space and the Madrid bed from The Brick definitely brings the drama! I love the oversized tufted headboard (so luxe!) and the depth of color definitely has shaken things up in what was previously our most monochromatic space in the house.
Next to the bed we've brought in the versatile Atlanta End Tables to bring in some warmth and topped them with what have become my favourite lamps ever, these beautiful dark metal lamps with linen shades!
These pieces all bring a depth and sense of drama that was definitely lacking in the space before but now with a bed this big there are a few items on my radar to finish this space such as bigger pillows, new bedding and of course stairs for Herman to climb up and down! haha
