Nicole Bridger x Poppy Barley: A Party
What happens when two women run, ethical fashion brands get together? Well, you throw a party of course! By now you should be no stranger to Poppy Barley. You might even remember that I helped host a party for them last summer! Well, this year in celebration of their summer collection, Poppy Barley teamed up with eco friendly designer Nicole Bridger to host a little summer soiree! There were tasty cake pops and yummy cocktails along with some seriously beautiful shoes, clothes and jewellery to drool over. Cara Cotter had some of her new collection of pieces out for viewing as well and let me tell you, they're absolutely stunning!
As a little fun twist on the evening Poppy Barley asked if I would "model" some of their footwear along with clothing by Nicole Bridger and jewellery by Cara Cotter - I just had to say yes and I'm so glad I did! I thought I'd share a few snaps from the night so I hope you enjoy!
PS - A HUGE thank you to Katryna from Lux Beauty Boutique for these photos. I was a bad blogger and forgot my camera so she took these shots for the blog.
Edmonton beauty boutique Lux not only had a few 'berry inspired' cosmetics out on display and for sale (Berry being the theme of Poppy Barley's summer collection) but they were also kind enough to do makeup for the 'models' AKA myself, Marissa of Stream and Stone, Robin of My Closet Journey and Erin. Thanks so much Lux and special thanks to Cassidy pictured below for making me feel like a glam diva superstar with my fabulous makeup!
