Simple Spring Sangria
Doesn't this photo just make your mouth water?! It's been 25 degrees in Edmonton today which means it's officially patio season! And for me, my go-to patio drink is a tasty sangria. A few weeks ago when I had the girls over for a pre-spring indoor picnic I whipped up a quick batch of this easy white wine sangria that I'll be sharing with you today! To make a batch of this yummy drink here's what you need...
-1 bottle white wine - I used Sandhill Wine's Pinot Gris
-1 cup frozen pineapple and mango (I order mine from SPUD!) *
-slices of orange, lemon and lime (I cut up one of each, and ordered them from SPUD too!)
-1-2 cups of orange juice (or other tropical fruit juice)
optional: sparkling water or sprite for some fizz
*try SPUD & use referral code CREDM-TIDDIA for $20 off your first order!
This sangria could not be any simpler. Place the fruit (both fresh and frozen) in the bottom of your pitcher and top with a cup of juice. Pour in the bottle of white wine and give a gentle stir. Give it a taste and add more juice if you need. When you serve, feel free to top with sparkling water or pop for a bit of fizz and that's it! How easy is that?! Bonus points if you make this ahead of time and let it sit for a few hours to let the flavours really come together.
Sangria is such an easy drink that's perfect for entertaining so next time you're having friends over, give this recipe a try and let me know what you think!
PS - HUGE thanks to Karly Ford Photography for snapping these photos! You're the best, girl! XO
