Style Icon: Olivia Palermo
Do you guys have a style icon? Someone you look at for ideas, inspiration, and have a general sense of ‘how does she do that - I want to be able to do that - that’s total perfection’ – ness about them?
For me, one of those people is Olivia Palermo (remember this GTL?). You might know her from The Hills (which I actually never watched), but she's made a name for herself post-reality TV with her amazing style sense and being a general It Girl (aka socialite). Not only that, but she's got a popular style/travel/lifestyle blog, she holidays on Greek yachts with Valentino (who else?), and is newly engaged to model Johannes Huebl. Not too shabs, Olivia!

But back to her style. The perfect feminine flare without being overly girly, Palermo's dressier outfits have my jaw dropping. From fab leather dresses and sky-high heels to ruffled coats and some feathery fringe, this girl is constantly killing it! Below are some of my all time faves.

That said, I think that my favourite looks to dissect are the street style outfits that Palermo puts together. They’re all so cute, but usually have fur or leopard or some other unexpected but perfect element added to them that really make them that much more amazing. We all want to look great for the fancy occasions in our lives, but isn’t every day important as well? I love how she playfully combines a casual sweatshirt with leather leggings, a crisp white blouse white strappy sandals, and fur with… basically everything.

So, who's your style icon? I have a few (I'll have to save those for later posts- can't dish it all at once now, can I?), but OP is most definitely one of my all time faves. And this post only touches on fashion but style can encompass so many different things- decor, artwork, you name it. There are so many inspirational, creative people out there and as someone who lives and breathes style, inspiration, and design, I love to see who's inspiring everyone else out there! So spill!
