#HomeSweetDamsel

Okay can we just take a moment to swoon over Jacey Duprie's revamped home?! As soon as I saw the first #HomeSweetDamsel pop up in her IG feed, I knew this was gonna be good. Jacey is the blogger and major #girlboss behind one of my favorite fashion blogs, Damsel in Dior.

Jacey's style is timeless, classic and simple in the best way possible so I knew her house was going to be the same. As I've followed along I've been loving watching her put together her beautiful home and now that she's been sharing more and more, I'm absolutely obsessed!

Her home is a palette of neutrals accented with lots of greenery, varying wood tones and hits of black and marble. I mentioned that for 2016 I was drawn to a more eclectic style and lots of neutrals so naturally I adore her space but I thought I'd break down some of my favorite elements.

1. Low hung art

I 100% will be stealing this idea. I LOVE it! These low hung Gray Malin's are unexpected, quirky and I think look great on either side of her fireplace. I told James I'd like to make Herman a stylish little corner next to our fireplace. While he just shook his head I took that as a sign of acceptance. I've already been lusting over these modernica planters for a long time (they're one of my go-to recommendations for my design clients) so stay tuned as you'll likely see these popping up in my life in multiples.

2. Her choice in chairs

You might remember I have a bit of an obsession with chairs and mid century modern classics pop up in Jacey's feed regularly. A girl after my own chair-lovin' heart!

3. Her neutral bedroom

Jacey also uses Parachute bedding which you might remember I used in my bedroom revamp. Her bedroom is clean, cozy and oh so serene. It's more minimalist than my taste personally but I could definitely see myself curling up with a good book and slumbering peacefully in here.

4. THIS FREAKING KITCHEN

Be still my heart. To me, this kitchen is perfection. Enough said.

5. This Floor

Flooring is a major (and scary) choice when renovating your home. I think Jacey chose the perfect tone of hardwood- a little bit warm, not too dark, just the right amount of wood grain detail. I love it! #floorenvy

And if you want a bit of a recap on the #HomeSweetDamsel journey, here's Jacey's posts about all things Home Sweet Damsel - aka Home Freaking Fabulous if you ask me!! What do you think about her home?! I'd love to hear in the comments below!
