Today let's talk about keeping healthy on the go... I've talked quite a bit this past year about how I've had some pretty major goals to prioritize my health and make better choices and as we should all know, it's the little things that make a difference. The small changes and choices you make every day can add up to big results and it's those smaller changes I'm trying to focus more on.

My job takes me all over the city most days and no two days are ever the same! One day I'll be shooting blog photos or styling a photoshoot for a client and the next I could be running all over the city sourcing design samples for a design project. There are the rare days I get a full day to work from home but those are few and very far between. Most of the time I seem to be running all over the place from morning until night which can at times make meal planning or food prep on-the-go a bit of a challenge!

My go to stop when I'm out for the day is always Subway. I think my love affair with Subway started over 15 years ago (wow, typing that made me feel a little bit old! haha) when I played volleyball and our team would always stop at Subway for a healthy lunch break between games at tournaments or when we'd hit the road for out of town games. As the years have gone on while I'm no longer being shuttled from tournaments and games. One thing that hasn't changed is I've always stopped at Subway when I want a quick but healthy meal on-the-go! 

Now call me basic ;) but I think that adding avocado to well, anything takes it instantly to that next level so my current go-to at Subway has to be the Harvest Guacamole Chicken Sandwich. Protein from the  chicken strips- check! Loads of fresh and healthy veggies - check! Major yum thanks to the avocado - check! And tons of whole grains and seeds in the Harvest Bread - double check!! 

On the days that I find myself running from one stop to another on-the-go or just wanting a quick and healthy lunch, I'll be trying to make smarter choices including stopping at Subway! Head over to try their Harvest Bread before it's gone (July 15 so get it while you can!) and trust me, add the guacamole for a little extra kick! Plus, we all know how great avocado is for you so it's basically a no brainer, am I right?!
