Holiday Home Tour Part Two: Dining Room & Modern Holiday Tablescape
Okay friends, I’m finally ready to share part two of my holiday home tour! In case you missed it, last week I shared part one of my holiday home tour, showing off my minimalist front entry and living room decked for the holidays. You can check that post HERE if you want to get caught up.
Because Tracey managed to get so many fabulous photos I thought I’d split up the home tour into two parts so today I’m sharing my minimalist modern holiday table setting and how we decorated our modern black dining room for the holidays…
We kept the holiday decor vibe pretty consistent with the rest of the house by using mostly neutrals and lots of greenery with just a little twist. To add to the drama of the dark space we brought in a little pop of red with the wreath.
As you probably saw in the first part of my home tour, I’m all about hanging wreaths indoors and I love the WOW factor we get with this wreath that was an awesome Homesense find.
Most of the holiday decor here is SUPER affordable - with the fresh greenery coming from Safeway, the dishes and vase for the centerpiece from Superstore and then re-using what I already had!
We added a few small Christmas touches to our bar cart and then on either side of the room kept things simple with a basket of fresh greenery (I have a smaller pot inside the basket with water I change out weekly) and then a small faux tree and simple lantern.
The table setting itself is in a palette of black, white and gold with pops of green. As a fun way to add a bit more festive color, I love to add cranberries to my water! What do you guys think of the table setting?!
