New Years Night In

And just like that 2016 is almost over. Can you believe how quickly this year has gone by?! New Year's Eve is just around the corner! Confession time: I've never been a huge New Years Eve celebrator. Don't get me wrong - I love the feeling of starting fresh and new potential that comes with the New Year and I love getting together with my friends around that time of year but I usually don't make a huge deal out of it. This year, after just getting back from England where we celebrated Christmas, James and I have decided we want a quieter night. Our plan is to stay in, have a few friends over and enjoy ringing in the New Year in a more low key style together.

If this kind of night sounds good to you - then today's post is right up your alley! Using some leftover holiday decor, contrasting dishes and some festive accents, why not put together a simple tablescape for an intimate dinner or gathering?

And if you're looking for the perfect easy entertaining food option, I highly suggest the ultimate charcuterie board! Charcuterie is so great for sharing, informal eating, snacking all night plus - no cutlery required! Check out my charcuterie essentials here.

Then for dessert why not nibble on some ethically sourced, organic raw chocolate? Pair it with my favourite wine and your night is set!! What will you be up to this New Year's Eve?
