Strawberry Peach Rosé Sangria
Happy National Rosé Day! Woohoo! If you're celebrating with a glass or two of the pretty pink stuff might I suggest you whip up this simple summer-y sangria?!
Using Sandhill's Rosé, vodka, fresh fruit and a bit of Pellegrino, I've got a recipe for a tasty drink that only gets better the longer it sits.
Here's what you need
1 bottle of Rosé, I used my favourite - Sandhill wines' 2016 Rosé
1 cup of Vodka of your choice
2 cups of fresh chopped fruit of your choice - I used strawberries and peaches
1 Lime
Pellegrino or soda to finish
To whip up a batch of this tasty drink start by chopping up your fruit and placing in the bottom of your pitcher. Add the vodka then the bottle of wine and the juice from one lime. Stir and let sit ideally for a few hours so the fruit can sweeten the sangria.
I don't like my sangria particularly sweet but if you find this sangria isn't sweet enough for your taste feel free to add sugar or sweetener of your choice to taste.
Once you're ready to serve, pour into your glass and top with Pellegrino or club soda for a bit of a bubbly finish and voila, the tastiest summer rosé sangria!
Enjoy! XO
