Our Cozy Fall Retreat: The Man Cave
When the weather cools down it's my time to hibernate. Don't get me wrong, I'm still into getting outdoors and enjoying fall but for the most part James and I tend to gravitate to staying indoors when the temperature cools.
With our 70" television, sound bar and cozy sectional the basement, AKA Man Cave is where we spend most of our time hanging out, playing games, keeping cozy and binge watching Netflix! ha!
Since it's been a little while since we shared this space I thought I'd show off a few of the changes we've made and talk a bit about how to cozy up your own basement (or man cave) for fall.
Tip #1 - Pillows and Throws
Cozy up any space by layering tons of faux sheepskins, cozy knit blankets and cushions for a bit of color and texture. It'll instantly cozy up your room!
Tip #2 - Accessorize and Personalize
Having great furniture is one thing but the personality comes through the accessories. I like to have lots of baskets, large scale artwork and modern shelving styling for our modern but cozy man cave.
Tip #3 - Prep the Ultimate Netflix List
If you're going to be staying in, chances are you'll be wanting to watch a bit of Netflix, no?! What's on my list for fall? I'm watching Season 5 of Wentworth (sorry not sorry but this is WAY better than OITNB), The Confession Tapes (I love true crime shows & docs!) and the Foo Fighters documentary Back + Forth (love those guys!). What's on your list for fall? I'm always looking for more suggestions!
